Here’s a bit about me… Grace C 🙂

I am a travelling Australian model lady living in NYC who likes to read, write and chat shite.

Which is what I’ll be doing here. Writing and chatting shite about things I see and feel and experience. From life in NY to navigating my 20s and the shambolic fashion industry, from things I love to the things I don’t love.

If my last two years living in London taught me anything, it was the power of a good moan to forge connections with fellow humanoids. It’s also good for the soul, in moderation, of course.

Here’s how ggraceless.com was conceived :0

I’m an avid journaller. Work is sporadic, and even when at work, I have way too much time on my hands, which obviously leads a girl to spend too much of it thinking about herself. Laying yourself out naked and vulnerable on a page can really make you realise how ridiculous life, people, and you (me) are. So, with my abundance of time and underutilised brain, the idea for ggraceless.com was born.

Blogging is just journaling on the ‘puter, right? Just a little less name-droppy (we will get there, I’m sure), a little more refined, and, of course, for public consumption because I’m narcissistic* and/or young enough to think you might care. 

And so…

I hereby introduce myself as your resident graceless guru. Someone who is shamelessly ‘girl’, sits comfortably on the basic spectrum, knows being lost and lonely, and fricks up frequently. 

Finding balance makes life hard. Finding solace in shared vulnerability makes life beautiful, more joyful.

And Also…

Oh, and there will also be a lot of book content (recos, reviews, listicles etc). Reading has been life-giving for me, especially throughout the chaos of the last three years, flitting about different cities and living out of a suitcase.
